When configuring Asterisk on an embedded VIA system, we kept receiving the error: ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: Invalid argument (22) when we launched ztcfg.          Everything was configured correctly, because the same config files had been moved over with the Sangoma A200d card.

The way we finally fixed the problem was to disable all the onboard USB ports. There was either a driver conflict or all the available resources were taken by the USB devices. If you experience this error, it is usually due to a configuration problem, but try freeing up some resources if you know for sure your config is correct.
